Fulham have appointed Martin Jol as their new manager on a two-year contract. He succeeds Mark Hughes, who quit the Premier League club last week with a known job offer.
Former Tottenham boss Jol will start work at Fulham later this month in advance of the players' return to training.
Jol, who was dismissed by Spurs in 2007, was linked with the Fulham role last year but Ajax refused to release the Dutchman from his post as head coach at the Amsterdam ArenA.
He has been out of job since quitting the Dutch club last December.
