A number of clubs from Italy, England and Spain have all been taking note of the Brazilian, his representative has said, and any offer from top leagues will be considered
Back in June, Costa, 20, said he was pleased after learning of an interest from Napoli and Roma, who were both linked with his services.
His five goals in 27 games for the Ukrainian side last term have not gone unnoticed across the European continent, and Bottega has now confirmed the Italian and Premier League clubs have been sniffing around.
Cesar Bottega stated that Arsene Wenger’s side made an offer of cash plus out of favour midfielder Denilson for the talented Brazilian, but the offer was rejected by the Ukrainian club who are only interested in a money deal.
Yet, despite the links with a transfer, Costa could still remain with coach Mircea Lucescu's squad even though any subsequent offer will be considered.
"The player is happy in the Ukraine and he gets to play Champions League football with one of the most important teams in Europe," added the agent.
"But, if an opportunity from an important league arrives then we will consider it."
Costa is tied to Shakhtar until 2014.
