Barcelona striker Bojan Krkic has indicated he is on the brink of leaving the La Liga champions but he has mixed emotions about potentially joining Roma.
The Serie A side, who will be coached next season by former Barcelona B manager Luis Enrique, have already reached an agreement with Bojan but the deal has yet to be finalised.
Tottenham are reportedly willing to offer the 20-year-old striker an alternative destination, but the youngster is expected to reluctantly head for Rome.
"I am experiencing a bittersweet situation,'' he told Corriere dello Sport. "It's not easy to leave Barcelona but in any case I feel fortunate. I'm only 20 and I know I still will be able to achieve many things in football.
"Roma are very interested in me and it could be a great experience. I have not spoken to Luis Enrique but I know he is keen on having me. Italian football is respected all over the world and an experience in Serie A would be good for my career.''
Bojan, who struggled to get regular first team football at Barca, is set to join Roma in a €10 million transfer deal and is expected to sign a five-year contract.
