Leicester City boss Sven-Goran Eriksson is impressed by the fitness shown by Owen Hargreaves in his promotional videos on YouTube, and insists that he is willing to offer the midfielder a chance to rekindle his career.
The 30-year-old joined Manchester United in 2007, after a fee believed to be in the region of £17 million had been agreed with Bayern Munich.
But Hargreaves barely featured for the Red Devils during his four-year stint at Old Trafford due to his injury problems. And recently manager Sir Alex Ferguson also confirmed that United would not renew the midfielder's contract.
Eriksson, who handed the former Bayern man his England debut, appears to be interested in acquiring the services of the Canada-born player. He claimed he saw Hargreaves's video and will welcome him to Leicester.
He add that the player is been very unlucky in recent years but if the former Red Devil regain his fitness, he is a fantastic football player.
